I received the checks back from them in the mail 2 weeks later. The same day I received the returned checks, I wired the same amount to the mortgage company . This money has not been credited to my account as of today . Since this is a large loan this failure to apply the payments has cost me over $400 in interest. I don't feel it is fair or right for them to expect me to pay this extra interest.
